Jim Jonsin Breaks Down Eminem Single 'Space Bound'

New York, NY – Eminem recently released the video to the hit single ‘Space Bound,’ which was off of the multiplatinum selling ‘Recovery.’ Because the video was shot in February of this year and the Shady Records CEO began commencement on other projects, many people thought that Em just scrapped the video completely and decided not to release it at all. It seems as though Em liked the song and the concept that the Joseph Kahn directed video played right into the video treatment. The video drop was as surprising as it was to even the producer the helmed the track. According to Jim Jonsin, he didn’t even know Em was going to release it as a single.

Veteran producer Jim Jonsin recently spoke with MTV News about the original concept behind the track ‘Space Bound’ and the timeline before it initially fell into the Detroit emcee’s hands. So ‘Space Bound’ was actually missing Eminem during the commencement stages of the original recorded song.
