Eminem and Royce da 5’9” have known each for many years. They are both from Detroit and both started coming up in the hip-hop scene around the same time. The rest is the present.
Even though the two were rumored to have had some kind of beef that was ultimately squashed, they came together for the album Bad Meet Evil. Good thing, because it hit No. 1 on the charts.
Speaking about success to Yahoo! Royce says, "It would be great if I could be in that position," meaning Em’s position of stardom.
After performing onstage in front of a 60,000-strong Lollapalooza crowd, the Detroit native says, "It's one of the most massive things that I've ever been a part of performance-wise. It was crazy, the energy was great, everybody showed Marshall a lot of love."
Hopefully he felt the love too.
